Link in bio
The link in bio is the address placed in a social profile's description, usually the only clickable spot a platform grants. It is a platform constraint turned into a practice: one address has to serve a whole account.

What it is for
It is often the only measurable way out of an entire audience. When a platform makes neither posts nor comments clickable, that single link alone carries the question “what does this account bring in”. Changing it between posts allows, for want of better, attribution by period.
How it is set up
A short address on a domain of yours, changed at the rhythm of your posts if the platform allows only one. Every change creates a measurement period: clicks from before and after do not mix if the link is not the same.
The classic mistake
Leaving the same link in bio for a year, then concluding the account sells nothing. A single, motionless link can attribute nothing: it totals twelve months of posting into one row.
One link, four periods
- MondayThe destination points at the new video. The clicks are counted.
- ThursdayIt moves to the sign-up page. The address has not changed.
- SundayIt points at the shop. Still the same address in the bio.
- Month endThree periods readable separately, one published link.
The platform allows only one address. Nothing says it must always lead to the same place.
What Subtraq does with it
A Subtraq link changes destination without changing address. The link pasted on the profile stays the same, the counter does not reset, and the destination follows whatever you are posting.

A badly placed label cannot be fixed afterwards: the link is already published. The builder writes the address without a syntax error, and the preview shows what the report will make of it.
